FAQS

CAN I SEND CARE PACKAGES TO MY CHILD?

We encourage all campers to arrive with all of their needs for the week. However, we do encourage you to send postcards and letters for distribution during one of our meal sessions

WHAT TYPE OF TRAINING DO THE COUNSELORS RECEIVE?

Our support staff meets with the camp leadership on a bi-weekly basis for 3-6 months prior to camp.  This encourages their trust in each other in their respective roles and allows them to learn and train on the camp materials.

CAN CHILDREN USE THEIR CELLPHONES TO CALL HOME WHILE THEY’RE AT CAMP?

Camper's are not allowed to have any electronic devices that will prevent them from fully immersing themselves into the program.  All camp leaders will have phones and all contact information if a child needs to phone home or be reached by a parent or guardian during the week of camp.

HOW MUCH DOES CAMP COST?

I HAVE A PICKY EATER, CAN I SEND THEM THEIR OWN FOOD?

While we make every effort to accommodate all food allergies, all meals will have an option that most kids will eat and there will be plenty of food to eat.

Breakfast usually has a hot and cold option with fruit.  Lunch is what most kids eat at schools.  Dinner is traditional kid friendly meals such as spaghetti, tacos, hamburgers, etc.  We will also have a canteen session in the mid morning and mid afternoon with snack items available for purchase.

2024 Cost of Camp is $325 and covers all food.  There is a $100 registration fee.  We do have a canteen event every afternoon and the cost the treats are $1-$2.

New in 2024, every camper will get a new backpack, a water bottle, a notebook, and a keychain to keep track of their friendship bracelets.
